Why book move-out cleaning with Hello Cleaners

01

Inspection-focused checklist

Inside cabinets and drawers, appliance interiors, baseboards, doors and fixtures — the places a final walk-through usually checks.

02

Empty-home timing

Book after the movers leave and before the keys are returned, so every surface is reachable.

03

Clear scope before booking

We confirm what is included and the price in advance, including add-ons such as interior windows or a garage sweep.

What landlords and property managers usually check

Final walk-throughs tend to focus on the same places. We clean each one in an empty home, or follow the checklist from your lease.

Inside the oven and fridge

Grease on the range hood is a common reason a home fails a cleaning check. Oven, fridge and microwave interiors are part of every move-out clean.

CHECK 02

Cabinets & drawers

Wiped inside and out.

CHECK 03

Bathroom fixtures & grout

Limescale on faucets gets flagged fast.

04

Baseboards, window tracks and floors

Vacuumed and mopped throughout, with dust on blinds taken care of.

Final walk-throughs tend to focus on the same places: inside the oven and fridge, inside cabinets and drawers, bathroom fixtures and grout, baseboards, window tracks and floors. Grease on the range hood, limescale on faucets and dust on blinds are common reasons a home fails a cleaning check.

Our end of lease cleaning covers each of these areas in an empty home. If your lease names specific items, such as cleaning the range hood filter or wiping walls, send it to us and we will add them to the plan.

Move-out cleaning and your security deposit

Cleaning is one of the most common reasons for deposit deductions. A professional end of tenancy cleaning gives you a record that the home was cleaned to a defined checklist, and a cleaner who knows what an inspector looks at.

We cannot promise any landlord's decision, but we can make sure the cleaning items on a standard move-out checklist are done. Send us your lease's cleaning clause or the property manager's checklist and we will plan the visit around it.

Move-out vs move-in vs deep cleaning

Move-out cleaning is for the home you are leaving, focused on returning it in good condition. Move-in cleaning is for the home you are arriving at, focused on sanitizing before you unpack. Both work best when the home is empty.

A deep clean covers similar build-up in a lived-in home, around furniture and belongings. If you are moving and selling at the same time, a pre-sale cleaning prepares the home for listing photos first.

You're arrivingMove-in

Focused on sanitizing before you unpack. Also best done in an empty home.

Planning the clean around moving day

Book after the movers leave but before the keys are due back. Leave a day between the two for touch-ups.

  1. Movers leave

The home is empty and every surface is reachable.

  2. We clean

Top to bottom, appliances and cabinets included.

  3. Spare day

Time for touch-ups if anything was missed.

  4. Keys back

Keep power and water on so cleaners have lights and hot water.

Book the clean after the movers leave but before the keys are due back. Leaving a day between the two gives time for touch-ups if anything was missed. Make sure electricity and water are still on, because cleaners need lights, hot water and working outlets.

Take photos after the clean for your own records. Many renters find a dated set of photos useful if a question comes up later about the condition of the home.

Common questions

Still unsure?
Call (307) 263-5458
How much does move-out cleaning cost?

From $190 per visit is the published starting rate. The final price depends on size, condition and add-ons and is confirmed before booking.

Does the home need to be empty?

Ideally, yes. An empty home lets us clean inside closets and cabinets and along every floor edge. Tell us if some furniture will stay.

Will this guarantee my deposit back?

No cleaner can guarantee a landlord's decision. We clean to a standard move-out checklist, or yours, and you can report anything missed within 36 hours.

Do you clean inside appliances?

Yes. Inside the oven, fridge and microwave are part of move-out cleaning.

Can you clean carpets at the same time?

Yes, carpet cleaning can be added. It is priced per room and scheduled in the same visit where possible.

Do I need to be there?

No. Many customers leave a key or lockbox code. We confirm access details before the visit.

How long does a move-out clean take?

It depends on the home's size and condition. A small apartment can be done in a few hours; larger homes may take a day or a two-person team.

Do you clean walls?

We spot-clean marks on washable walls where safe. Full wall washing, painting and patching are not included.
